Brian Wanbaugh is the program manager for FLARE (Forests & Livelihoods: Assessment, Research and Engagement), a program housed at the Keough School of Global Affairs. He helps to coordinate FLARE activities, including the annual meeting, use of FLARE toolkits and various administrative duties. He also graciously provides some administrative and technical support to the ESSEI Working Group.

Wambaugh earned a master of environmental sustainability from Indiana University Bloomington O’Neill School for Public and Environmental Affairs and also holds a BA in sociology from Butler University and a Transition to Teaching certificate from Indiana University South Bend. Along with FLARE, he also works alongside Dr. Danielle Wood as the program manager for ND-GAIN, part of Notre Dame’s Environmental Change Initiative.
